Fall Apple Sangria

Fall Apple Sangria

Ingredients

    • 2 apples, diced (we like EverCrisp®, Honeycrisp, or SweeTango®)
    • 1 orange, sliced
    • 2 cups apple cider
    • 1 bottle of white wine of choice
    • ½ cup brandy
    • 2 cinnamon sticks, whole
    • 2 star anise pods, whole
    • 1 head of ginger, sliced
    • Club soda
    • Optional: light brown sugar

    Directions

      1. Add apple cider, cinnamon, star anise, and ginger to a small saucepan and simmer for 10 minutes.
      2. Strain cider mixture into a pitcher and allow to cool to room temperature.
      3. Add apples, oranges, white wine, and brandy.
      4. Chill for at least 2 hours (overnight is better!).
      5. Optional: rim your glass with brown sugar. Top with club soda and enjoy!
