Fall Apple Sangria
Ingredients
- 2 apples, diced (we like EverCrisp®, Honeycrisp, or SweeTango®)
- 1 orange, sliced
- 2 cups apple cider
- 1 bottle of white wine of choice
- ½ cup brandy
- 2 cinnamon sticks, whole
- 2 star anise pods, whole
- 1 head of ginger, sliced
- Club soda
- Optional: light brown sugar
Directions
- Add apple cider, cinnamon, star anise, and ginger to a small saucepan and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Strain cider mixture into a pitcher and allow to cool to room temperature.
- Add apples, oranges, white wine, and brandy.
- Chill for at least 2 hours (overnight is better!).
- Optional: rim your glass with brown sugar. Top with club soda and enjoy!
