Caramel Apple "Popsicles"

These popsicles are made with crisp Gala apple slices, a simple and delicious date caramel, and decorated with melted chocolate and sprinkles. They’re easy to make and perfect for an after-school snack or treat for kids and adults!Â

Ingredients
- 1 Gala apple
- 10 pitted dates
- ½ cup water
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- Sprinkles, for decorating
Directions

Slice the apples into ¼ inch rounds.Â

Carefully cut a small slit into each slice and insert a popsicle stick.

Blend the pitted dates, water, and salt until smooth to make the caramel.

Spread the date caramel onto each slice, then place in the freezer while you melt the chocolate.

Combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a bowl and melt in the microwave or over a double boiler until smooth.

Spread the melted chocolate over the apple slices and decorate with sprinkles.

 Return to the freezer until the chocolate sets. Enjoy immediately, or keep them frozen for a crunchier treat!
