Fuji Cobbler

Ingredients
- 4 Fuji apples, peeled and thinly sliced (about ¼ in. thick)
- ⅛ cup + ⅓ cup granulated sugar (divided)
- 3 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 6 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350º F. Lightly grease an 8 in. x 8 in. baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, toss sliced apples with ⅛ cup sugar and 1 tsp ground cinnamon. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, combine remaining sugar and ground cinnamon with baking powder, flour, and egg. Combine until a rough crumb forms.
- Spread apples evenly over the bottom of the baking dish. Top with crumb. Pour melted butter over the crumble.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes. Remove and cool for 10 minutes, then serve with vanilla ice cream.
