    • 4 Fuji apples, peeled and thinly sliced (about ¼ in. thick)
    • ⅛ cup + ⅓ cup granulated sugar (divided)
    • 3 tsp ground cinnamon
    • 1 cup flour
    • ½ tsp baking powder
    • ½ tsp salt
    • 1 egg
    • 6 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted



    1. Preheat oven to 350º F. Lightly grease an 8 in. x 8 in. baking dish.
    2. In a medium bowl, toss sliced apples with ⅛ cup sugar and 1 tsp ground cinnamon. Set aside.
    3. In a separate bowl, combine remaining sugar and ground cinnamon with baking powder, flour, and egg. Combine until a rough crumb forms.
    4. Spread apples evenly over the bottom of the baking dish. Top with crumb. Pour melted butter over the crumble.
    5. Bake for 45-50 minutes. Remove and cool for 10 minutes, then serve with vanilla ice cream.
