1/2 New York apple, thinly sliced
1/2 avocado, mashed
2 slices whole-grain bread
Hummus (we love Ithaca Cold-Crafted Classic Hummus)
Carrot, julienned
Red cabbage, julienned
Kale leaves, deveined
Sprinkle of salt and pepper
Directions
- 1.Spread hummus on one piece of bread
- 2.Spread mashed avocado on the other piece of bread
- 3.Pile apples, kale, carrots, and red cabbage on hummus side
- 4.Sprinkle with salt and pepper
- 5.Sandwich bread together
- 6.Cut in half
