Ingredients
- 4 large New York apples, chopped (skin on or off)
- 1/4 cup butter (or coconut oil)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (or coconut sugar)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (can add nutmeg, allspice, and cloves, too)
Directions
- In a large skillet, melt butter and add apples
- Cook for 6-7 minutes until apples are tender, stirring often
- Add sugar and spices, let bubble for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally
- Remove from heat and serve warm
