Recipe Photo - Sautéed Apples

Ingredients

  • 4 large New York apples, chopped (skin on or off)

  • 1/4 cup butter (or coconut oil)

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (or coconut sugar)

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (can add nutmeg, allspice, and cloves, too)

Directions

    In a large skillet, melt butter and add apples
  2. 2.
    Cook for 6-7 minutes until apples are tender, stirring often
  3. 3.
    Add sugar and spices, let bubble for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally
  4. 4.
    Remove from heat and serve warm
