6 New York apples, halved or quartered
1/4 cup sugar (refined, brown, raw, or coconut
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon cloves
Directions
- 1.Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- 2.Cut apples into halves or quarters, removing core and seeds
- 3.Combine sugar and spices in a medium bowl
- 4.Add apples and toss until fully coated with sugar and spices
- 5.Spread apples in a single layer on a greased baking sheet
- 6.Bake 30 to 35 minutes, tossing halfway through
